Sushama Telwatte
Sushama Telwatte is the Locarnini Fellow in Virology at the The Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity. She completed her PhD at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and her postdoctoral training in the laboratory of Dr. Steven Yukl. Her research centers on understanding the mechanisms underlying HIV latency in tissues. She has a particular interest in adapting and applying innovative technologies to answer key mechanistic questions.
